Fountain Pen in Bocote’
Fountain Pen in Bocote’ Ribbon and Opal with Bock #6 Medium Nib & Pen Rest
Bocote’ is a wood native to Mexico, Central and South America. It is noted for its distinct figuring and durability. This blank was wave sawn lengthwise, black veneer was laid along the cut; and then the halves were bonded back together creating a black veneer sandwich. A black band on the bottom of the cap, and a small inlay of cultured Fire Opal in the end of the body accent the design.
